Blanca is an 8-year-old Chihuahua who came to Unconditional Rescue after being rescued from a hoarding situation involving 18 dogs in Palmdale. While her past was uncertain, she’s proving every day that she’s a resilient, funny, and loving little companion.

Blanca loves leisurely walks where she can stop to sniff and explore the world around her. She walks beautifully on leash, enjoys meeting new people and dogs after a proper introduction, and isn’t bothered by the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At home, she’s the perfect sidekick—happy to follow you from room to room while still enjoying her independence and afternoon naps nearby.

She has a playful streak, occasionally bursting into hilarious “Tasmanian devil” zoomies as she chases her tail, and she’s definitely food-motivated. Don’t be surprised if she keeps a hopeful eye on the dinner table or tries to sneak a better view if there’s an open chair!

Blanca is a wonderful traveler, enjoys being pampered with gentle wipe-downs, and is doing great with her potty training. While she’s generally quiet, she’ll let you know when someone is at the door before quickly settling once she knows everything is okay.
