If you dream of having a sweet, affectionate, calm, easy lap dog then look no further! Hagrid (named after Harry Potter’s scruffy, lovable, gentle giant of a friend) is so sweet and would add so much love to any household. He loves to curl up on your lap for a nice long nap and would make an excellent family member for someone who either isn’t that active or doesn’t have time for multiple walks per day.
Hagrid does an amazing job in the car as well. As long as he has a little bed to lay in, he’ll be the best copilot on even the longest of roadtrips!
Hagrid is potty trained and does an excellent job of telling you when he either 1) is hungry, 2) needs to go out, or 3) wants cuddles. He’s a simple man who knows what he wants.
Hagrid has had quite the Unconditional makeover! He had a mass that was removed and found to be benign; he was mostly bald due to skin infections but is now a scruffy little fellow; and he had painfully dry eyes but is now on a treatment plan that keeps him seeing and comfortable. As his new owner, you would just want to continue his eye medication for life, but he takes it very easily.
As if he’s not perfect enough, he’s also been very friendly with all the other little dogs he’s met in our care so far. We know you will LOVE Hagrid – let us know when you’re ready to meet him!
