Lanita is just the happiest little girl you’ll ever meet! She loves meeting new people – everyone is her new best friend – and she always wants to be the life of the party! She will gladly hop into a bag and join you on your daily outings or she’ll happily curl up next to you while you work.
Lanita was actually rescued from a man who was trying to trade her for a pack of beer. She had severe deformities in her back kneecaps that prevented her from walking or even standing normally. She couldn’t straighten her legs and it was causing discomfort to her back. Thanks to a couple complex surgeries and the amazing medical team at Rise Pet Health, she is running around like any other healthy little puppy! Her adopter will want to monitor her progress as she continues to grow into adulthood, but we can help you along the way.
