We’re not quite sure how Wilma landed in the Downey shelter, but she was there for about two months when we learned about her on her scheduled euthanasia date. All the stars were aligned… we locked in a foster, gave our vet a heads up, and went to get her. And she’s been the sweetest little princess ever since!

 

Very inquisitive, treat motivated and eager to learn, a quiet angel in the car, not a big barker, friendly with new people… it feels like we hit the jackpot with Wilma. She even knows “sit!” She loves toys and snuggling in her bed next to you while you work or watch tv. She’s pretty scared of other dogs so it’s best if she stays away from them and is the only furbaby in the house. Hopefully just until she feels more safe and secure with a forever family at least. We’re working on helping her redirect focus on walks too, so she can enjoy them more.

 

Her bloodwork looks great and the vet gives her a big gold star. We know she’s going to make one lucky family very happy this Spring. Are you ready to meet her?
