If you enjoy taking life at a slower pace, Winston is your perfect match. He loves leisurely strolls, happily taking in the sights and smells—usually a few steps behind you as he explores the world. He’s curious about other dogs and enjoys watching potential new friends but always remains calm, polite, and non-reactive. After a couple of potty breaks, he’s more than happy to head home for a cozy nap.
At home, Winston strikes the perfect balance between affectionate and independent. He loves belly rubs, cuddles, and spending time near his people, but he’s not clingy. He’s just as content relaxing on his bed while you go about your day. He hasn’t discovered a favorite toy yet, but we’re sure there’s one out there waiting for him.
Winston has wonderful manners around people. He’s done well with respectful older children and even happily accepted pets from a young child during a walk. He also peacefully coexists with resident cats, showing gentle curiosity without being overbearing.
When it comes to other dogs, Winston is calm, polite, and easygoing. Mealtime is one of his favorite parts of the day, and he never turns down a tasty treat!
Bath time? No problem! Winston stands patiently in the tub and happily lets you wash him from head to tail, making grooming surprisingly easy.
He also rides well in the car, especially for shorter trips. He travels quietly in a crate and can sit calmly in the car, though he may get a little anxious on longer drives.
